St Luke’s Church is working in collaboration with Charlton House again this year as the house switches on its Christmas tree lights. The Great Hall will be dressed for Christmas and there will be an outdoor market, crafts for children, seasonal treats and warm drinks. St Luke’s will be leading the carol singing and will be encouraging people to share their ‘Hopes for 2022’.
Between 4.30 and 6.30 pm, St Luke’s Friends will be running guided trips up the tower, revealing unique views of the city illuminated by thousands of lights, along with talks about the millennium tapestry and the St Luke’s links with local, military history.
